I've heard from Shelagh, my host, today to say that she's closing down her server. This will also mean the end of my blog.
As DB is a sub domain on Shelagh's Blogon.com I can't actually move the URL to another host. I've been taking an extended blogging break so once I get the urge back I'll probably just start another one on Blogger.
Goodness, this is all rather sad as I've been here for five years. It'll be like losing an old friend :(
If anyone does want to keep in touch you can do so at

yes you/she CAN!
if she(lagh) is dropping her server but keeping her domain, then she can specify to her DNS-provider that the sub-domain bellisDOT redirects to baconcheeseandoatcakes. simple as that!
