I Quite Agree

A human being is a part of the whole, called by us "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest -- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty
.

--Albert Einstein

Which is a wonderful idea. It's putting it into practice that I find so hard. I am trying though. I just wonder if, at nearly 47, I'm running out of time for getting it right!

So true.

There's a quote I love:

When we tug on a single thing in nature we find it attached to everything else.

You're definitely not running out of time - I'm still working on it at 58 and feel as if I'm making at least some progress - maybe 1.1 steps forward and 1 step back.

Otherwise I'm hare-ing along (in as much as RA allows) doing an MA and lots of photo stuff. Have made a March resolution to try and post on my blogs from time to time, and to visit my friend's blogs - so hello, and ta for the kind message. Tone x
