I thought I'd finally get some images up of the last of the knitting I did for 2007. They're all baby things that I knit for grand-daughter3 to tied her over the winter.

This was knit using an old Aran pattern I had for a cabled jacket. I added a hood onto it to keep her warm. the yarn is some Noro Silk garden that I'd originally used on another project and didn't like. I'm all for recycling yarn when a project goes a bit awry.

I love Sirdar Snuggly yarn for baby knits. It's very soft but being acrylic is easily washed and dried, something important for a mum with a baby I think.

I can't remember the name of this yarn. It's almost certainly another in the Sirdar brand. I liked it because it was self patterning and looked like fair isle without all the hassle.

And finally a cardigan knit with Sirdar Chatterbox. The colour is actually called nougat. Grand-daughter3 looks lovely in this one.
Absolutely adorable - wish I had a granddaughter. The hooded jacket would work for me I have 3 grandsons.
They are sensationally cute! What a great craftsperson you are, Ma'am! Beautiful stuff. you are such a proud Grandma - and thank you for being so too.

Each one is beautiful, but I like the top one the best just because it looks SO soft!
Darling sweaters, all. Some lucky babies are looking cute in your handwork.
:)
your sweaters are so very cute. I just had 2 grandchildren born on Feb 20th, 6 hrs apart in birth and about 150 miles apart. A Grandson first then a Grand-daughter (their daddies are step-brothers) strange how life works--now I shall be busy knitting more baby stuff. Love your knitted sweaters -- thinking of ponchos since spring will more than likely be here by the time I get mine done.
Love the top one. Can you make it in my size please? :)
Everything is so adorable but I just love the hooded Noro jacket! :)
