...out of respect.
Comments (6)It's November and time for NaNoWwiMo. Unless you're me and have never had any interest in participating in it. With the Fibro I just can't be doing with sitting a keying for any length of time. Which is why I no longer work.
However, I am willing to give NaNoSweMo a go. Looking in my stash I've got enough Rowan cotton in a glorious gold colour and enough chocolate brown cashmere to knit myself a couple of sweaters (I was asked recently when I was going to knit for myself and this would be just the opportunity to do so). I'm a bit behind though as I haven't yet chosen a pattern.
I have One Button Cardigan - You'll need to register and be logged in to see this pattern - in mind for the Rowan cotton. I have a chocolate coloured top that it would look very nice over.
For the cashmere I'm thinking Basic Black, a nice classy and simple pattern or, by the same designer, Ivy, a rather nice wrap over sweater. I've not tried a wrap over before as I am barrel shaped and have a large middle but I think I might give it a go anyway as it's so lovely.
Oh decisions, decisions...
...we went to the cinema. We haven't been to the cinema in a while. Generally because up until recently it would have interfered with my 20 hours a day beauty sleep that I've seemed to need. And as I was allowed to choose we went to see Stardust
Based on the book by Neil Gaiman it was a sweet love story with lots of magic and special effects. It'll be one I'll be buying on DVD. I'm such a sucker for this kind of film.
We've also booked tickets for the special Star Trek night
I'm a lifelong lover of all things trek so I'm looking forward to this one. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like in digitally remastered HD.
