This is amazing
What a stunning sweater. I'm not sure I'd have the nerve to wear it even though there are some who have imagined I dress like that :)
I don't crochet. I have a book of How To but I can't get the hang of it. Looking at diagrams is just not the same as having someone to show you how.
Does anyone know if there's a crochet version of the Knittinghelp.com site?
Now that is a cool sweater, I am not sure I would wear it either but I would want one.
;)
Molly wouldn't need knitting needles - just a wand (or two) - Purlio knitendum
Just happened upon your blog, very enjoyable, you make me laugh!
I might totally have to knit that in greens and browns instead of pinks. Did you ever get the package? I hope so.
I think there is a crocheted version in my "Charmed Knits" book? I'll look (as soon as I find it!) and let you know.
If you can knit the way you can Elle, crocheting will be a piece of cake.
There are only a few basic stitches (chain, double crochet, treble crochet) and after this the rest are largely variants on these, and simply counting loops and sticking the hook in. I've just Googled and found several tutorials on YouTube
eg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNL0xw29r48
and

As ever, there are differences in the names of the stitches between US and UK.
Good luck!
