I've just worked 26 rows of 171 stitches using 3mm needles in knit one/purl one rib on the front of a sweater for Himself, only to recheck the back and find I should have been working a knit three/purl three rib.
This is what happens when you're:
a)tired
b)think you know the pattern
c)tired
d)forget to check
e)tired
Off to the frog pond and learn to keep checking the pattern even if I'm convinced I can remember what comes next.

Oh boy do I know how that feels - although lately I have been too busy to knit.
Miss my time here talking with you!
Kevin says he feels your pain. He has not done it enough to "fix" his mistakes yet so he would have had to start all over. I think he will be able to in time. He made a mental note to make sure he follows patterns step-by-step.
